Flash died?
Here's the case: I have a screensaver made with flash and since today it simply won't run, whenever I leave the computer I come back to a little error box saying "Could not find macromedia flash". Although flash applications in firefox work just fine, I also reinstalled flash player three times, rebooted, and still no screensaver
anyone know what's up?

Sounds odd. Maybe you have a flash plug-in for FF but not the full app? Heh, if that's possible.

Hehe.
I don't know the answer to the OP, but on both of my computers, FF and IE keep telling me to install Flash Player to watch videos on youtube, and etc. I've tried rebooting, installing new flash, etc, nothing works, I think flash is just buggered.

There's a flash uninstall tool to clean out flash, and it's very easy to reinstall. It's all you should need to do.
Btw, don't bother with screensavers, you save more energy by telling the monitor to suspend.

well I used to not have a screensaver but sometimes the monitor seems to forget so go into suspend mode, got a temporary burn mark from that so I'll stick with the ss for a while longer >_<
I'll try to uninstall it now before installing again and we'll se how it works, thanks
